Welcome to State Cargo Packers and Movers. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and our packing and moving services. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to follow the terms mentioned below.
1. Service Agreement
When you confirm a booking with us, it becomes a service agreement between you (the customer) and State Cargo Packers and Movers.
The agreement includes:
- Service type (home shifting, office relocation, vehicle transport, etc.)
- Pickup and delivery addresses
- Estimated charges
- Scheduled date of shifting
All details must be accurate. Incorrect information may affect pricing and delivery timelines.
2. Booking and Confirmation
Booking is confirmed only after:
- Final quotation approval
- Advance payment (if applicable)
- Written confirmation via call, WhatsApp, or email
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking due to safety concerns, incorrect details, or operational limitations.
3. Pricing and Payments
All charges are based on:
- Distance
- Volume of goods
- Floor level
- Lift availability
- Packing materials used
- Insurance requirement
Extra charges may apply for:
- Long carry distance
- Heavy or special items
- Urgent bookings
- Rescheduling requests
Full payment must be cleared before final delivery unless otherwise agreed.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing correct addresses
- Informing about fragile or valuable items
- Ensuring building permissions (if required)
- Arranging parking space
- Removing personal valuables like cash and jewellery
We are not responsible for items not declared during survey.
5. Packing Standards
We use professional packing materials. However, if customers request self-packing, we are not liable for damages caused due to improper packing.
6. Transit and Delivery
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to:
- Traffic conditions
- Weather issues
- Government restrictions
- Roadblocks
We aim for timely delivery but are not responsible for delays beyond our control.
7. Insurance
Transit insurance is optional and recommended. Claims are processed as per insurance company terms.
Without insurance, liability is limited as per company policy.
8. Prohibited Items
Customers must not include:
- Illegal goods
- Hazardous materials
- Explosives
- Flammable substances
- Perishable items
Violation may lead to cancellation without refund.
9. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellation must be informed at least 24–48 hours before shifting date.
Late cancellations may attract charges depending on work already performed.
10. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to declared value of goods and agreed service terms.
We are not liable for:
- Natural disasters
- War or civil disturbances
- Government actions
- Customer negligence
11. Website Usage
Users must not misuse the website for illegal activities or submit false information.
All website content belongs to State Cargo Packers and Movers and cannot be copied without permission.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will be handled under Indian jurisdiction laws.
We encourage resolving issues amicably through discussion before legal action.
